-= Eddie Hearn hopes that Rider will pass me without any problems = –

– Andrew, what title do you own now?
– WBA Inter-Continental

– When and with whom will your next fight take place?
– October 27 in London, with Briton John Ryder.

– Do you think that you have a similar situation with Alexander Povetkin? He also traveled to England to fight with Joshua underdog.
– To some extent, yes. I also have to box in London with a local boxer. Moreover, the situation is such that Ryder has the same promoter as Joshua, the famous Eddie Hearn, and they invite me to Britain precisely with the expectation that Ryder will pass me through without any problems.

– What are your current WBA rankings?
– I am number 5, and he is number 3.

– The champion in your category is Callum Smith, who is in the final “Super Series” defeated already now former champion George Groves. Did you see the fight?
– Of course. Smith handsome. He did everything very competently, using his growth advantage. It was obvious that Groves was simply not ready to box with such a high contender.

– Does growth matter?
– Of course. Like the length of the arms. When the opponent is higher, the span of the hands is bigger, he tries to keep you at a long distance. And here the active work of the legs is very important in order to get close to him, to conduct a series and break the distance. Enter exit. Such leg work takes a lot of effort and energy, and in a fight with a high-armed boxer you need to be ready for this. But personally, I have been involved in athletics for a long time, I even ran in major All-Russian tournaments, and my legs did not let me down.

– I understand correctly that in your fight with the Rider is determined mandatory challenger for the title and, accordingly, to fight with Smith?
– Yes that’s right.

– Is there already some kind of understanding by date?
– Not. And I do not even think about it. Now tuned to Ryder. Why look behind him?

– The rider is now in the ranking number 3, and you are number 5. Why the choice of the team Hirna fell on you?
– Here was done the managerial work. This fight goes through Vladimir Khryunov. He has his own garters. On the part of the managers, everything was done so that I could become a rival to the British, despite the fact that theoretically they could have chosen someone lower in the rating. Although, I repeat, they are doing the battle under Ryder with the expectation that he will win in a fight with me. But I now have a great chance to become a mandatory challenger, and this is very cool.

– And who is your manager, Vladimir Hryunov?
– My manager is Ivan Leontyev, I solve all the issues with him. He, in turn, collaborates with Vladimir Hryunov. And the promoter of the upcoming fight – Eddie Hearn.

-= I didn’t think I could reach this level in boxing = –

– Two years ago we met with you in Moscow. Your record in boxing was then something like 9-0, maybe even smaller. At that time, did you think you could reach that level?
– Fair? Not.

– How did you see your ceiling then?
– Yes, I did not see any kind of ceiling, as those who follow my career know that almost all of it is associated with kickboxing. And I did not even imagine that I would be in professional boxing. I don’t have an amateur career in boxing – for example, I played a couple of times at the regional level for sparring.

– How important is amateur base in boxing?
– Mexicans immediately begin to perform in professionals and show good results. But I think that an amateur base, of course, ideally should be, without it is difficult. I have it, albeit in kickboxing.

– What are your kickboxing titles?
– I was the champion of Russia, the champion of Europe, the champion of the world, I won the World Cup three times. Everything in the full contact section.

– Do you have the title of Honored Master of Sports?
– No, I am a master of sports of international class.

– And why? Something did not have to ZMS?
– I did everything I needed to get the PMS, but certain documents were lost, and the main problem is corruption. We had to go to different rooms with some packages.

– Are you talking about the Russian Federation or Nizhny Novgorod?
– Russian.

– What happened next? Have you decided to finish a kickboxing career and try yourself in professional boxing?
– I did not immediately finish my career in kickboxing. I had a serious knee injury. Then Ivan Leontyev helped me with the operation and offered to switch to professional boxing. I refused, explaining that I did not see myself there. In the end, I recovered and continued playing in kickboxing.

– What year was it?
– 2011. Then in 2012, I again get a knee injury. Ivan Leontyev again helps with the operation and offers the option of boxing. Then I already understood that everything was very bad with my knee, you couldn’t beat kicks, health was more expensive, and adrenaline was overwhelming, I wanted to box, to be in the ring, in competitions. And then it was decided to go to professional boxing.

– Did you even consider professional kickboxing? Provided that with the knee everything would be fine.
– When I won the Russian Amateur Championship, Alexey Gusyatnikov immediately approached me with such an offer. Then I compared the fees for the fight and the risk of injury, and immediately refused. I did not see the point.

– When did you realize that in boxing everything is serious? What have you got on the championship path?
– Probably it was in Sochi when I boxed with Karen Avetisyan, the Russian champion among professionals. It was then that I realized that the level is already serious, a test of strength, a check on what I’m really worth, and whether it makes sense for the manager to continue working with me in this direction. I had a pretty confident fight, I won. And then I realized that I have the potential, and I can really achieve something in professional boxing.

– Now you have to learn more in his hometown? See the rise in popularity?
– Not really. Maybe quite a bit.

– And after the battle with Mayorga in Novgorod?
– Well, somewhere in the week after the fight – yes. The head of the city invited me, Elizaveta Igorevna Solonchenko. Congratulated, shook hands, gave me a certificate of honor, said she did a good job. Then I went with a belt to the deputy. Governor Svatkovsky Dmitry Valerievich. The procedure is the same – shook hands, wished good luck. That’s it all over.

-= I have such a character that I love to act against everything and everyone = –

– Are you keen on football and are you in Manchester United?
– I have been fond of football for a long time, since childhood, very much, I look at it a lot more than boxing, but only MJ is not in the business here.

– I was wrong, the Manchester City team, huh?
– If you take the European clubs, then yes. And in the RFPL, I am a fan of Samara “Wings of Soviets”.

– How did it happen that a person from Nizhny Novgorod supports a team from Samara?
– When I was a child, I started playing football from grade 1, and only then I started kickboxing. At that time, everyone was sick for “Spartacus”. The only team was the one that won 9 times the Russian Championship, and all the idols were from the guys from there. I really liked the player Andrei Tikhonov, but at the same time for himself “Spartacus” I have never been sick. And then Tikhonov then moved to “Wings of Soviets”. Now he, by the way, is the head coach of the team (approx. – at the time of publication of the interview, Andrei Tikhonov resigned as head coach). When he crossed, they took the bronze at the Championship of Russia, and I just continued to follow him, at first without any special sympathy for “Wings of the Soviets”. Then Tikhonov’s career began to decline, he went to play somewhere in Kazakhstan, stopped following him, but he still had a love for “Wings”since he played there for a long time, the team showed good football, played even in European cups. So I started to root for them. I have such a character that I act against all and all – I like three sixes, my favorite number is 13, and when everyone was sick “Spartacus”I started to root for “Wings”. Cheering for champions is easy. They were then the only ones who bought themselves legionnaires. Constantly won. It was not interesting from a sports point of view. But try to root for those who are not a favorite. I liked that.

– When Tikhonov returned to “Wings” – were you glad?
– It was great, he and his son are playing there now. But I can not say that he is an outstanding coach. Yes he brought out “Yenisei” in the premier league from there it passed over here to “Wings of Soviets” and also returned the team to the Premier League, but still I’m not happy with his coaching skills. It is possible that for the benefit of the team it would be worth changing the coach to a more professional one. But, as already said, we went to the Premier League again, we seem to be showing good results. And now it is stable every year – we take off, then we return.

– How do you generally treat those people who are starting to root for the champions?
– Yes, the majority of them.

– Experiencing the negative?
– Yes, I’m talking about this. And it was formed in childhood when everyone was sick for “Spartacus”. At the hearing there was one team, they were the best. And that’s all. Everyone was rooting for “Spartacus”. And how are you sick for “Spartacus”when I found out about the team two weeks ago, when they became champions again, but you already beat yourself in the chest and scream, how do you support them? I rode 700 km from Samara from Nizhny Novgorod just to come and see the game. And more than once we went with my brother.

-= Kickboxing, unfortunately, is losing popularity in Russia = –

– Brother, too, is involved in kickboxing?
– Yes. And he is also the champion of Russia, Europe and the world. Also in the full contact section. He is also a master of sports of international class.

– Are you in different weights?
– Yes, he is heavier. He is younger, but heavier and taller. We are with him for a long time in the Nizhny Novgorod region the only international-class master of sports in kickboxing.

– Do you have a close relationship with your brother?
– Very close, but at the same time, despite the fact that we live in the same city, we see each other less often because of congestion. Every day we intersect in a fitness club, but not so often to sit and walk. At the weekend, the parents sometimes meet. We come to the sauna to steam up.

– Are you arranging an annual kickboxing tournament?
– Yes. This year is the fifth time.

– Why do you make a tournament already uninteresting to anyone, as for me a full-contact section, which is falling in terms of popularity, when there is a low-kick and K-1?
– I agree. And the popularity of these sections is now falling, as well as the overall popularity of kickboxing in Russia, unfortunately. Why arrange for full? Because they themselves performed there.

– Why not add other sections just?
– First, then the budget will increase, you need to look for additional sponsors. Although, for the sake of developing kickboxing in the region, it may and must be added. But the initial idea was precisely that we ourselves performed in this section, and therefore we are holding tournaments in it.

– Do you earn anything from this tournament?
– Not. The last two years, we go to zero. Three years before that were minus.

– Do you think that the growth of your popularity contributes to the growth of the tournament and attract new sponsors?
– I think yes. There are sponsors who have been cooperating with us for three years, go to the name, go to quality. From each tournament we make a video report, which we provide to sponsors, where they see satisfied children, with happy faces, prizes, gifts. There are always many honored guests at the tournament. That is, we do what we take money for. We did not take the budget and did not spend for some of our needs, having held an ordinary tournament. We have very good prizes, we have an open cup, they come to us from different regions – every year more and more.

-= Having changed the coach, I immediately felt a professional approach to business = –

– Now you are in Moscow due to the fact that you are training here, since your coach is from Moscow?
– Yes, Andrey Ivichuk.

– Did you have another coach before that?
– True, Valery Ponomarev.

– Why broke up with him?
– He was more my friend. He also performed earlier in kickboxing, he did not train anyone before me. When I started playing in boxing, I needed a man who could hold and pause on paws somewhere. I first called my brother, but he could not get on schedule. And then he called Valera. After that, they began to cooperate with him, he became my coach. At the same time he did not possess professional coaching skills. And when my rating rose, my boxing level grew, the manager said that if we want to grow further, then I need a more professional coach who could lead me to a new level, recommending Andrei Ivitchuk.

– Did your relationship with the past coach deteriorate because of this?
– Yes. Immediately. And the negative went on his part. I made a couple of attempts to maintain friendly relations, since we were good friends with him, we went through a lot, in due time even rented an apartment, lived for a long time. But he somehow did not see more prospects in communication.

– When I came to Andrei Ivichuk, I realized that this is already a professional level?
– Yes. Professionals are trained by Andrei in the gym, everyone prepares for his battle.

– When you work in the gym, where many professional boxers work – does it somehow affect motivation and attitude?
– Of course. Previously, with Valera, when we went, for example, to Serpukhov for sparring with Chudinov, we trained in the general group. There were all – children, adults, lovers, people from “health groups”who just goes to train for themselves. Only 30 people in the group. The total warm-up, all tasks for all the same. And for the boy of 15 years, and for the professional. All one size fits all. It is clear that this is not the most professional.
Andrei already immediately felt an individual approach, an analysis of strengths and weaknesses. From the first workout, I saw a completely different level. And then I realized that if you move and set ambitious goals before you, then this should be done here.

– As far as I know, do you have a few coaches here? Andrew – on boxing, a separate physical training coach, and so on?
– Yes. Firstly, here we completely pass all the tests. We have a trainer for OFP – Oleg Protasov, who makes him do it. He monitors us, looks at what state we are in, determines where to add, where to subtract, in general, an individual approach in everything. We also have everything on sports nutrition. Again, a completely different level.

– Tell us about some of your records in terms of physical fitness.
– We have no goal to set some records now. I have no setup to work at maximum. That is, there is now to squeeze the maximum weight from the chest at a time, or pull up the greatest number of times. We have exactly the special work on the muscle groups that will help during the fight. Everything is according to a special program, so that I maintain maximum performance, be ready every day for new loads and could give all the best in training.

– What is your training schedule?
– In the morning is boxing. Three times a week – work on the paws, three times – sparring. The guys from Germany, Kazakhstan come to Andrei. The popularity of the hall is constantly growing, there are more and more people, sparring partners too. During individual work on the paws, we work out some blows, combinations, and our own chips.
In the evening we have a special physical training. At the same time, closer to the fight, work is being built the other way around – we conduct boxing training in the evening, since the boxing fights take place at this time. It helps to adapt better. We also take into account the difference in time zones and build the training time based on this.

– That is, if the difference is very big, like between Russia and the United States, for example, then what are you training at night?
– In this case, we just take off in the US early. As it was last time. I arrived there three weeks before the fight in order to maximally adapt to the new time zone. At the same time, when I spent the fight in Krasnodar and knew that it would take place at 12 at night, we went there one week before the fight and then yes, I practiced at about that time in the evening, because the body should go to fight in optimal readiness, so that fighting at such a time would not be stressful for him.

– How is your last week before the fight? How do you tune into a fight? Can you use any meditation techniques?
– The load drops, both physical and boxing. Removed sparrings. More explosive and speedy work, so that the muscles were in good shape, to remove the weight from them, to stretch out, to be fast and mobile. All physical activity is already explosive, fast, easy. In boxing, we work on high-speed paws, we make explosions on the bag.
I never had any problems with the mood to fight. Some kind of meditation I do not do.

– To summarize, say – what is the difference between amateur and professional sports?
– In all. Starting with how you yourself approach this, how you feel about training, knowing that this is your job and you feed it with family. In the lovers – a hobby, but here – work.

-= We are going to win to London = –

– Fights Ryder watched?
– Of course, along with the coach.

– What are his strengths?
– He is generally a good fighter, very solid. With me, about one size, he will not have growth advantages. All the boxing skills with him: a decent blow, technique, endurance. But at the same time there is nothing in it that strongly distinguishes it. When you watch his fights, you don’t feel like you don’t know what to do with him. He is doing well, but there is nothing special, you can work with him. Work and win. So we go only to win. Let and in the status of the underdog.

– Do you work out something specific for an opponent?
– Of course, we always work out special elements for each opponent, combinations, moments. And which ones – I will not say. Since he is definitely looking forward to the release of this article.

– And laughs?
– I think crying.

– Are you planning a full fight? Do you work with the expectation that it will reach a solution?
– Given the fact that I do not have a pronounced knockout strike, then rather yes. I think that the whole distance will be covered. Stamina allows me to work at a good pace all rounds.

-= I would not have had all these achievements without my wife =

– At the training camp, when there is free time, what do you usually do?
– There is very little free time, we have one day off – resurrection.
And so two workouts per day. I woke up, had breakfast, went to the morning workout. Worked out. He came, had lunch, looked at the series, slept, rested and was already on his way to the evening. And there already as you arrive – then immediately go to sleep without hind legs.

– What TV series do you watch?
– Yes, all top. “Game of Thrones”, “Vikings”. Now I am reviewing “Gangster Petersburg”.

– Seriously? Do you feel some nostalgia?
– No, it’s just that ours somehow know how to shoot serials on this gangster theme. Interestingly it turns out.

– And from overseas, you like these; let’s call them “historical”.
– Well yes. “Spartacus” still watched. Generally powerful.

– Recently turned one year to your son Plato. Would you like him to become a boxer?
– Professional? I think no. But my parents, too, would hardly have said at one time that they wanted this for me, but at a certain point I did not ask them permission anymore. We do not know how life will turn out, to make a choice for him, but I would not really like it. Of course, I will give him to boxing so that he can do it, since any guy needs to be engaged in martial arts. But the maximum I plan is for him to poboksirovat at the level of the area, so that he became a real man, could stand up for himself. And I would like to make a bias towards education.

– Because of the fees often because you are not at home?
– Of course, I really miss my wife, my son.

– How does the wife relate to your work?
– Mariska is a special person for me. She always understands that I have not been home for a long time, she always supports me a lot. She is my main fan and the main source of inspiration. Without it, there would not be all these results.

– You said that you would like to make a career bias in your son’s career, and do you have a higher education?
– Yes of course. Legal

– Are you strong in jurisprudence?
– Frankly, no.

– Why? Did not study?
– No, I studied. And he studied well. I finished school with only four fours, and all the other fives were.
And so I had one troika in the first year, which I didn’t want to correct later, but in the diploma I already had about eighty fives and a little fours. I graduated from the Nizhny Novgorod Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in 2007, finished very well, but continued to perform in parallel. He played for the Academy at the championships of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in hand-to-hand combat. Mom then insisted that I go to work at that time back in the police. But there was a tempting offer for the continuation of a sports career, well, and that’s delayed, it remained in the sport.

-= Coach Povetkin had to stop the fight after the first knockdown = –

– Let’s talk about the past high-profile battles in professional boxing. On the battle of Groves – Smith, you have already spoken, but what do you think – what is the main reason for the loss of Alexander Povetkin in a battle with Joshua?
– Boxers of different categories and different levels. I think that if Povetkin had laid out even by 200-300 percent, and Joshua would have laid out on 50, he would have won anyway.
Specifically, according to the drawing of the battle, I think that Povetkin tactically approached incorrectly. The first 3-4 rounds were quite good, and then it would be possible to slow down a little, take a pause, and not continue to go forward. But Sasha has a coach for that.
As for the work of Joshua – it delights. It was visible as he gives Povetkin to blow out, get tired, in parallel constantly stinging with hard blows to the body, thereby slowing down his work. As a result, Alexander became slower, began to react worse to the actions of his opponent, and then Joshua joined in – struck several hard blows, which decided the outcome. Tactically, it worked fine.

– Dmitry Kudryashov is training with you. Recalling his defeat by knockout in the first duel with Duradola, I see some similarity with the battle of Povetkin – Joshua. Then, after the knockdown, Dmitry immediately rushed into battle, not trying to defend himself somehow. The same situation was here with Povetkin, as it seemed to me. There were no blocks, slopes, waste. He just went to Joshua. Can you explain why this is happening?
– Povetkin is an experienced boxer, but he doesn’t have much experience in such situations when he had to be knocked down. And these are different things. A similar situation in Kudryashov. But in general, Sasha’s coach Povetkin’s fight with Joshua should have stopped the fight after the first knockdown, since everything was already clear. The continuation of the battle threatened only possible additional damage, which Sasha received. And this all affects health.
And he went ahead, because there was a desire to show character, willpower, to rematch for the knockdown.

– But in the same place it was not to revanch?
– Yes, that’s why I say that the fight should have been stopped. Knockdown was such that it was impossible to continue the fight as equals. By the look of a boxer, it is already clear that everything is the end. But Sasha with character, this is not to take away from him.
If a boxer has experience of such episodes, then of course he tries to turn on the rear speed, to enter the clinch somewhere, to move on his legs, time pulls. Coaches should suggest how much is left before the break. And there is already a minute of rest and the battle can still be saved.
And when such a knockdown, almost like a knockout, and after him immediately go ahead in exchange. Sasha is perfumed, then the coach had to stop it.

– Watched the second fight Alvarez – Golovkin?
– Here this situation happened. I did not want to get up early to watch the live broadcast. I think – well, as I wake up, I will look at the notes. He did. But before that, my roommate, who was watching the live broadcast, had already voiced me the final judge ratings. And here I am looking. I keep my notes on the rounds and when the fight ends, I understand that they don’t agree at all with what the official judges put. I call a friend at once, they say how so? What is it? He looks and says that here you are a boxer. this is their first fight you just looked. So in the end, I carefully watched 12 rounds of the first battle.

– Have you watched it before?
– I watched, of course. But I did not remember it much – I looked and turned it off.

– What do you think – who won in the first battle?
– The fight was equal, Golovkin was more active, constantly moving forward, but Alvarez blew up excellent counterattacks and clearly hit. I think that a draw is really the fairest result.
I’ll see the second fight, now I’ll finish it “Gangster Petersburg”.

-= MMA is dog fights. It remains only to allow the bite = –

– MMA are interested in?
– Not

– Why? You played kickboxing, hand-to-hand, now in prof. boxing MMA is not so far from it all. Moreover, it is a very fast growing and developing industry.
– So I spoke on MMA. Professional fight is. On You Tube you can find.

– Do you have a MMA fight? Tell me about it.
– I have already said that the Interior Ministry acted in hand-to-hand combat, where there is also a fight, by the way, and then they offered me to perform in combat sambo. I won the tournament, complied with the standard of the master of sports, as well as in hand-to-hand fighting, and so I was offered to fight by the rules of the MMA in Kstovo. The tournament was held on the Fedor Emelianenko Cup. They said – we will pay, on the BS you did it, try it here too. I agreed. My opponent was Alexander Butenko from the St. Petersburg Red Devil team. I led the first round, smashed him completely, beat off his low-kicks leg, nearly strangled him a couple of times, but did not have enough wrestling skills and techniques. Went to the second round, also won without problems, but at some point he was behind me and just strangled. And then I realized that wrestling plays a very important role in MMA and I have nothing to do there. Although suggestions have been received.

– You just said about Fedor Emelianenko. He will soon have a new fight (note – at the time of publication) Fedor has already defeated Cheyl Sonnen. What do you think – is he doing right, that he continues to perform, or did he have to leave already?
– Of course you have to go on time. I just immediately recall that fight with Maldonado, where Fedor let in so many punches. And he raised his hand.

– You are not embarrassed by the fact that Fedor is the president of the Union of MMA, and was the judge of the Union of MMA judged this fight?
– There is a lot that can confuse. It was clear that the tournament was done under Fedor.

– Do you think that the referee in that fight did not stop the fight in the first round, when Fedor was in a terrible situation, due to the fact that Emelianenko was essentially his boss, and he was afraid to take such responsibility? Indeed, because of his actions, Fedor lost a lot of health. Should such referees be deprived of their license, since this is unprofessional?
– I think not. Since the referee poured a lot of criticism if there was some early stop, and especially if the fighter himself, whom “rescued”, believes that he could continue the fight. Therefore, the referee in these situations are reinsured. Of course, they should have professional qualities that allow them to determine the real situation and the capabilities of the fighter to continue the fight – by sight, by state, but I think that at that moment the referee thought that Fyodor could continue the fight. Well, he actually continued it, actually.
After the battle, there should be a commission that evaluates the work of the judges and the referee, as in football, and makes decisions – to punish the referee somehow or, on the contrary, encourage him, assessing his work.

– Let’s go back to MMA – you said that you don’t like this sport. Why?
– Yes, some dog fights. It remains to bite and allow all. And in general, it is ugly, not spectacular.

– Do you think that the level of the same UFC is non-spectacular fights?
– Not all. The units are spectacular. Those who are in a rack, without a fight.

– That is, fights in the rack in MMA do you like?
– Well, you can see something. Spectacular scuffle such. But it is just stupid scuffle. Here in boxing is intelligence. As they say: “Boxing is not chess, you need to think here”. There is a strategy, a tactic. It is clear that now MMA fans will tear me apart, but this is my opinion. I do not like this sport. Although it is growing dynamically and its popularity in Russia can now be even ahead of boxing. The fighters there are physically strong, a lot of strength is taken away by this fuss in the fight, on the ground. Strong guys, hardy, strong, but I do not like this sport.

– Why do you think that MMA now in Russia can even be ahead of boxing in popularity?
– It all depends on the investment. Financial. Apparently more money is being invested now in promotion, development. Even if you take our central sports channel “Match tv”, there MMA fights are broadcast much more than boxing.

– But I think that major MMA tournaments are simply carried out more than boxing?
– Well large yes.

-= Now in the Russian boxing there is no clearly defined leader. need to occupy this place = –

– Who is the main value in boxing from Russia?
– Until recently, it was Sergey Kovalev, but now he has twice lost to Ward, and then to Alvarez. Therefore, I think that now there is no brightly expressed star and leader in Russian boxing. Vacancy is free – you need to take.

– Kovalev will have a rematch with Alvarez. What will be the result, do you think?
– I think that Sergei will win. Who watched the first fight, he saw that Kovalev easily dealt with the first four rounds with him, but 79 kg is a rather heavy weight, in which everything can be solved with one blow. Well, here he relaxed at some point and missed. I think that there was still an underestimation before the fight, and when they met in the ring and Sergey realized that he was breaking him without problems, he almost saw panic in Alvarez’s eyes, then he relaxed even more. Here is the enemy and used his chance, well done.
The revenge will be very interesting, since Alvarez will already believe in his blow, in his own strength, he will come out with a completely different attitude, and Kovalev may even be a little afraid somewhere, fearing hard blows. And, again, the revenge can go much more interesting than the first battle.

– Is there any fight of the Russian boxers that you would like to see?
– Only Lebedev – Gassiev comes to mind. But, judging by the last battle of Lebedev, now he is not in the best shape, even visually. Before that, he had not spoken for a long time, and I think that he is unlikely to restore his former condition.

– In Yekaterinburg, there is now a promotional company RCC, which has stated several times that it would like to organize a boxing fight between an MMA fighter from Conor MacGregor’s team Artem Lobov and boxer Pavel Malikov. Would you be interested to see this?
– Pasha Malikov, I generally watched a lot of fights. Very interesting boxer, entertaining, real battle fights in the ring.

– How do you feel about the fact that MMA fighters are now attracted to boxing fights? Is it a good sport or is it just a topic for making money and HYIP?
– If you take the fight with MacGregor Mayweather, then of course they staged a circus, haipanuli and dough raised. Well done. Why not. But in general, I am not a supporter of such fights.

– About the money. I will not ask for specific numbers, but tell me – is your fee now more than 100 thousand dollars?
– Not. But in case of victory in a battle with the Rider and entering the championship fight, the numbers will be higher.

– Do guys like Groves and Smith order numbers more than yours?
– Of course. Much more
